Koos Hussem – Chief Executive Officer & President

Koos Hussem was born in Heerlen, the Netherlands. He studied at the Universities of Amsterdam and Nijmegen in. After finishing his studies, Koos worked as a freelance consultant for a number of multinational corporations, providing expertise in digital archiving. In 1986 Koos founded his first company. Koos brings his wealth of business experience, entrepreneurship and passion in media to X-CAGO – the company he founded in 2000. Koos is a regular contributor, presenter, and speaker at media and publishing conferences, providing insights into the print and digital media landscape.

Erik Hommersom – Chief Technology Officer

Erik Hommersom was born in Tiel, the Netherlands. He studied Computer Linguistics at the University of Utrecht. He worked as a scientist at the same University for two years. From 1987-1990 he was a Technical Project Manager for software development at a KLM owned technology venture company. Between 1991-1996, Erik was employed at Océ Research & Development specialising in language technology, image processing, optical character recognition, intelligent scanning and technology ventures. Erik began his employment with X-CAGO in 1996, responsible for innovative technology development and is currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of X-CAGO. Erik has 20+ years’ experience with Object-oriented programming (OOP) and technologies. He has an in-depth knowledge of language processing technology.
