X-CAGO’s Clearing Software has been developed as a management tool – primarily for publishers – to track & trace the output and productivity of content creators, namely authors and photographers.
The software captures content produced per content item tracking back to the originating creator. On a per content item basis the rich reporting includes the calculation of the:
- number of words,
- number of photographs
- square cm/inches of text
- square cm/inches of photographs
- total coverage
- number of page views.
The Clearing Software requires X-CAGO’s Profiler Software to be commissioned. Many publishers use the Clearing Software as a means to reduce their costs and increase efficiencies in the checking and authorisation of invoices from staff journalists, contractors, and freelancers. The Clearing Software also helps ensure the integrity and authenticity of the intellectual property rights holders for content.
